Traces Of The Wind vinyl

Petre Inspirescu (Radu Dumitru Bodiu) delivers a pair of 12" discs as part of a single album release, each devoted to a single expansive, pastorally inclined track. The singular LP, his fifth so far, explores minimalist and classical influences with a slowly vibe-accruing, methodical approach, reminiscent but not fideistic of serialist music. The result is subtle: 'Those That Tremble' recalls the willowing boughs of a great glen as we skip and prance through it, while 'For Very Hard It Is' moves deeper in the low end and makes great use of tuned organs, refashioned gourd sounds and buxom woodwinds. The release continues the exploration of patient, intricate sound design by the Romanian DJ and producer.
