Welsh wunderkind Pennygiles steps up to Fusion's Tempo brand with three slabs of jungle concrete. "Looking In" has a hazy air that's reminiscent of Need For Mirrors' early output where the drums need to be peeled away layer by layer. "Without Worry" is a breezier jam with treacle subs and a faraway vocal that yearns for Hospital (chiefly Logistics) earlier output. "Lie Through Me" brings us to the climax. The softest, most emotional cut of the bunch, this one is all about the dreamy pads, velvet subs and lush brushed snares. Sometimes the simplest ideas are the most effective. Yet another triumph for both Pennygiles and Tempo.
