Have You Passed Through This Night vinyl

Man Power has scored something of a coup by persuading Mike Simonetti to bring the Pale Blue project, which also features vocalist Elizabeth Wright, to his Me Me Me label. "Have You Passed Through This Night" feels like an intoxicated, synthesizer-loving deep house head's take on Simonetti's work for Italians Do It Better, with Wright providing a typically stylish spoken word vocal to accompany the bubbling electronics and locked-in drum machine beats. Simonetti and Wright opt for a sunnier, more melodious approach on "Comes Here", where the latter's freestyle vocals wrap themselves around subtle acid lines and dazzling synth motifs. Pional provides a little spit and polish on his accompanying remix, which feels a little more tech-tinged whilst retaining the pleasant feel of the Pale Blue's original.
