Recently, Prins Thomas's Full Pupp label released its' 50th single, some ten years after debuting with Todd Terje's Mjondalen Diskoklubb. This 51st release comes from Oslo's Oyvind Morken, and marks his third single for the Norwegian imprint. In general, it's a typically cheery affair, built around positive synthesizer lines, chugging, Italo-influenced grooves, bouncy percussion and occasional nods to vintage Chicago house. There's plenty to get excited about, from the Lamont Booker inspired silliness of "New Age Of Smokin" and jaunty "Dance Of The Drunk", to the low-slung, Chicago-influenced rhythmic chug, alien melodies and Pure Trance-era KLF feel of "Unholy Trance".
