Ost & Kjex is a Norwegian electronic music duo from Kolbotn outside Oslo. The duo consists of Tore "Jazztobakk" Gjedrem and Petter "Hi-Fi" Haavik who have really made a name for themselves over the past decade with their brand of infectious tech house that has seen the light of day on labels as diverse as Diynamic (mainly!) locals Full Pupp and of course Crosstown Rebels who release their new slick and sexy serving of hi-tech soul entitled "Dirty Mind" featuring the some absolutely mad vocals by a fellow named Mung. This is the kind of track that someone like Dixon would drop for some mood lighting in the early evening. On the flip is a brilliant rework by inimitable Seven Davis Jr who takes us down into far deeper and more lo-slung territory: it's a real good one actually! This is the duo's second release for Damian Lazarus' imprint since 2006's "How Not To Be A Biscuit".
