By now, we should all be familiar with RORA's matter-of-fact ODE offshoot, a minimal house and techno imprint that revels in the anonymity of its producers. Predictably, the label's latest missive is from another unnamed studio buff. Happily, both tracks are up to the label's usual high standards. On the A-side you'll find a pleasingly fluid and spacey roller crafted from a relatively sparse palette of sonic assets: think languid, two-step influenced beats, starry melodies, indecipherable spoken word snippets, rich bass and floatation tank chords. The 14-minute flipside moves further towards traditional tech-house/minimal techno territory, albeit with some tripped-out jazzy guitar samples and swirling late night sonics.
