Andrew Scott has been fairly quiet in recent years since he released "Grasscutter" with Ian Blevins on Saft, but after his comeback on Local Talk last year he's keeping the NY*AK project alive this time round on Quintessentials with four cuts of sublime deep house. The shadowy British producer goes for sexy and slow-mo grooves on "After The Sun" (feat Franc Syx), before returning to disco on the sunny and uplifting "Mind". On the flip, he saves the best for last with the lo-slung boogie down vibe of "Onions" (feat Mark Hand).
