The Delusions Of Grandeur label has always been a hotbed for quality deep house, and some of the game's best and brightest have graced its catalogue. Another great thing about the label has been its continuity and ability to think forwards, and this new series entitled Delusions 50 does just that. Here we have Part 1 of the collection, and it features the great Nebraska with "What I Talk About When I Talk About Running", a placid house chiller best served cold, no quick mixing on the fly is allowed, please! Ugly Drums bounces his way through funky bass tones and chugging percussion with "Like Its OK", but the undisputed quality comes from Session Victim and the gorgeous soulful swells of "Came To Be Alive" - boy what a corker!
