Japanse jazz-funk trio Nautilus have delivered some great cover versions over the years, but few quite as popular as their take on Giorgio Moroder's 'Tears', a track best known for supplying the organ part on DJ Shadow classic 'Organ Donor'. Originally released in 2019 and finally available again courtesy of a timely reissue, Nautilus's take is infectious and filled with great energy, but also deftly delivered with some killer keys-work from Daisuke Takeuchi. On the reverse they deliver another rock-solid cover, reinventing the Stylistics' 'People Make The World Go Round' as a mazy, Bob James-style jazz-funk floor-filler.
