Continuing to fly out their widely lauded take on contemporary deep house, Mr Tophat and Art Alfie present the third in their Karlovak Chrome series with some decidedly out-there constructions that reveal the more experimental side to their productions. "Don't Step On The Baby" keeps things very subtle indeed, with a muffled kick drum and faint whispers of melody weaving a hypnotic message for all the subliminal shufflers out there. "Orange Rain" takes a similar tact of holding back rather than giving out, letting a heavily sedated beat thud out amongst a listless crowd of tones and drones with odd flashes of psychedelic colour.
