Last year's self titled debut album from Mo Kolours was one of those records we could leave playing on the Juno office stereo all day without tiring; it really proved Joseph Deenmamode to be a quite unique and beguiling talent. We are pleased as punch to the South London artist return with some new material in the shape of How I (Rhythm Love Affair), a seven track 12" for regular home One Handed Music that is on first listen just as enticing on the senses. As ever, there is a kaleidoscope of musical influences at play throughout and Mo's genius is the way in which these are fused to sound so appealing. The twinkling beatdown of "On My Way" is a standout whilst the more creatively minded out there will appreciate the vinyl only two bonus beats that close out the 12".
