Edoardo Inzolia and Michael Galetto are certainly making their debut one to remember thanks to this devilish bit of cold-waving. The duo have not appeared on our charts before, but we're already big fans given how this sort of 80s memorabilia is hard to come by these days. The entirety of MEW Vol.1 feels like the soundtrack to a cult B-movie, a horror will do just fine, and it really is all about the synths here, with each tune dipping and diving its way like a John Carpenter flick on speed. In fact, there is little to disapprove of and, given the recent fascination with the vibes of shows like Stranger Things, this will undoubtedly appeal to more than just the underground masses. No vocals, all drums and synths, pure hedonism.
