A somewhat stealthy operator in UK techno, Miles Sagnia has quietly laid out a strong run of releases on Aesthetic Audio, Applied Rhythmic Technology and more over the past 10 years. Now he's back in the fray on his own Atmospheric Existence label with this assured slice of tripped out techno for those who like things looped up and driving. "Antiformin" is relentless in its construction, whipping up a transcendent kind of hard line techno for peak time psychedelic abandon. "Grace" is a smoother affair, drenched in gorgeous pads but still strapped to a rocket. This is true uncompromising techno, as steeped in soul as it is science.
