The last Off Minor gripper comes from a kindred spirit in Future Times captain Max D and easily falls in alongside the raft of excellent material the DC producer and selector has put one of his names to in recent times. "Circles Bubbles" has a certain '80s Japanese new age feel to it, and naturally is augmented by some brilliantly chopped drums from the D man, whilst "Flex Cathedral" more than lives up to it's name. Possibly the most Max D track title in the history of music, "Flex Cathedral" is all about the downwards drum hits and those glistening synth flourishes. Want your wig flipped? Check out "Immunity" which has the best subtle usage of Gameboy we've heard in some time! Final cut puts the craziness to one side to show Andrew Field-Pickering is fully capable of beautiful abstraction. This record is also first place in the running for the most purple 12" of 2015.
