Since first surfacing on Hypnus Records back in 2014, Luigi Tozzi has put out a lot of material. Impressively, this is the Italian producer's eighth E.P in the space of 24 months. Musically, both "Meftie" and "Attis" are formidably dancefloor-focused, though that's where the comparisons end. The former is bleak and paranoid, with restless electronic motifs and ghostly chords riding a dense, tribal-influenced techno groove. "Attis", on the other hand, is a little more mournful and quietly melodious, with greater influence from dub techno. Both tracks get the remix treatment, too. The Gods Planet introduce an acid line to "Meftie" to give the track even greater intensity, while Claudio PRC opts for an icier, dub techno interpretation of "Attis".
