Review

It's pretty brave to call your record A New Paradigm but that's what Luca Dell'Orso has done here and he provides enough musical evidence to have a fairly strong case. His vision of disco is one seen through a retro lens, with glossy chords and pixelated leads. It's the future as we imagined it might be back in the 80s, but somehow it still slid fresh. Chicago claps and pop hooks, tense basslines and melancholic moods all feature along the way and make this an expansive and journeying record that strikes all the right emotional and dramatic notes.
