Having launched with a timely reissue of Trinidadian Deep's "Tree Of Life", Albuquerque's fledgling Plastik People label adopts a different tact for their second release with the first in a series of Various People split artist releases. The archival approach hasn't been abandoned completely however as leading proceedings is a Plastik edit of Louie Balo's hard to find mid '90s garage bumper "Don't Shut Me Out". Complementing this, Music Is Love graduate Mikki Funk continues to excel on "Lose My Mind" whose soul is derived from a similarly warm '90s climate as Louie Balo. Face down and Tuff Jam & Mike Sharon team up for the boompty delights of "Thankyou House Music" whilst underground legend Karl The Voice makes an appearance on final cut "Jus Dance" with his vocals the perfect accompaniment to Marc Cotterell's punchy arrangement.
