Last time Hans-Peter Lindstrom released an album, he was operating alongside one of his all-time musical heroes, Todd Rundgren. Two years on, he's back operating solo, laying down his first studio set for some five years. As ever with the Scandolearic disco legend, it's a hugely attractive and atmospheric affair, with surging, life-affirming dancefloor cuts (see recent single "Tensions" and dreamy closer "Under Trees") being joined by similarly melodious and attractive tracks that don't strive as hard to get the feet moving. There are hazy downtempo interludes, quirky synth-pop songs, and plenty of glistening, synth-heavy moments that doff a cap to both AOR pop and left-of-centre Italo-disco.
