One half of Northern Structures Lasse Buhl launches his solo career on Echocord Colour with an Adam X-inspired EP. R38 sees the Danish label push further into an industrial realm to what the imprint is perhaps known for, with the metallic undertones and rubber band synths of the title track sounding like something to come out of K209's basement studio. Buhl slows down the BPM and spreads the beats in "Em A Ai", resulting in a track that sounds like Regis-techno played incorrectly at 33rpm. The K209 connection returns via a Milton Bradley remix to "R38" which sounds like a Giorgio Gigli production, only with less reverb and a decipherable groove.
