While he may not be a household name yet, Lamusa II shows great promise and a single on the ever strengthening Gravity Graffiti only supports this idea further. The Paris-based producer more than steps up to the esoteric qualities of the label with a rich spread of jams that channel 80s production values into curious grooves and plush vistas of ambience. "Rhythms# 1" and "Unknown Flute" are both ready for the floor, even if their respective synth rich atmospheres reach out to exotic climes, but elsewhere on this record there are even more wondrous places to travel to, where plastic piano, flute and harp sounds more magical than you could possibly imagine.
