Given Token's imperious presence in the contemporary techno scene, it's a rare treat to see the label's founder Kr!z demonstrating his own prowess in the field of big, boomy club music for dark rooms. After a run of singles on MindTrip, SK_Eleven and Blueprint, he's bringing it back home with Atlantis, kicking off with a title track which takes us fathoms deep into an icy pool of sound. Oscar Mulero is on hand to remix the track, stripping things back for a 'Deconstruction' with a masterful touch. On the B-side, 'Nautilus' plays around with some artful, psychoactive sound design which cuts through the immersive, heads-down pressure of the rhythm section, and then Marcal steps up with a knotty remix which gets deep in the loop for a proper late night locomotion.
