Patrick Stottrop under his Kareem alias is one of techno's most enigmatic characters and during the years between 1996 and 2004 he was responsible for some of heaviest hitting industrial techno coming out of Berlin. He set up his label Zhark with Rachael Kozak, aka Hectate, before eventually taking over and setting up what's now known as. Stottrop re-emerged in 2012 with releases for Fondation Sonore and The Death Of Rave, and now the first vinyl release from Zhark Recordings since 2007 lands and it's every much as good, if not heavier than what he made in the past, but it's not all drums and noise, there's plenty of industrial ambience too. Welcome back!
