Unfurl the bunting, crack out the commemorative crockery and get that street party planned: Germany's Freude Am Tanzen is celebrating a "jubilee" of releases (that's 60, before you ask). It's taken them a while - they dropped their first slinky, tech-tinged deep house release back in 1998 - but in that time they've consistently hit the spot. The label has long prided itself on releasing "nice house music", and there's plenty of on-point, floor-friendly pleasantness to be savoured. This celebratory collection is naturally full of gems, from the Andres-ish warmth of Tim Vita and Oliver Gehrman's "Charles Rockin' Chair" and uncomplicated piano house grooviness of Monkey Maffia's "Gladis", to the murky late night acid pomp of Kadebostan and Laolu's twisted "I Need To Feel Something".
