John Beltran has curated two compilations for Delsin called Music For Machines and part two sees the American artist dig deep once again. A fathoming and soulful "Waterfall Winds" opens this second instalment and sets a cool, effervescent tone for what's to come; a collection of lo-fi synths, crackling, motionless field recordings, emotive ambiences, Wolfgang Voigt-like electro-classicalisms and Steve Reich influences. Beltran's own production "2093" is new age and spacey, and given the right context is truly an overwhelming piece of music.
