Having previously worked alongside DJ Fett Burger, Canadian-in-Berlin Jayda G has decided to go solo for this second outing on their Freakout Cult imprint. Musically, Jaydaisms sees her exploring similarly territory to previous releases, serving up eccentric, off-kilter deep house shot through with the distinctive dustiness of old analogue hardware. Highlights include the bright-eyed, bushy-tailed, piano house fun of "IGA (feat Alexa Dash)", the organ heavy loveliness of "Rishikesh", whose disco cowbells and swinging drum machine rhythms compliment the producer's woozy pads, and the NY deep house-goes-to-Vancouver cheekiness of "Sound of Fuca".
