He might now be a headline DJ who plays only the biggest clubs and festivals in the world but there was a time when Jamie Jones was firmly entrenched in the underground. During those years he turned out some fresh and spaced out house and tech on various labels including Crosstown. Damian Lazarus's label is where he put out his Don't You Remember The Future album back in 2009 and listening back now it has aged well. The sounds are fresh, the grooves otherworldly and the bass and drum work very much in the signature bump and grind style championed by Jones. Well worth picking up, this.
