The revival of Lowtec's long dormant Out To Lunch imprint was one of the feel good stories of 2015. Here, the born-again imprint takes a new approach, releasing the first of three split 10" singles, showcasing a track apiece from a variety of artists. First out of the blocks is former 100% Silk and Farbwechsel artist James Booth, whose "Love" is a deliciously out-there chugger built around sampled strings, mutilated but loved-up vocal samples and fizzing percussion. LCD Soundsystem bass player Tyler Pope joins forces with Mandre on the flip, expertly fusing sprightly acid bass, jackin' drum machine hits and lo-fi electronic melodies on the equally inspired "Watusa (Dub)".
