Dalston denizens Jam Factory serve further notice of their obvious production nous - a fact obvious to those that know who is behind the project - with the second and final instalment of "One Night Stand", their rather special collaboration with Ex Rapture wailer Mattie Safer. Whereas the first twelve wrapped the heavy Chicago leaning sounds of the original in self explanatory acid and piano versions, this twelve sees the duo enter much deeper territory via a vocal and dub mix. It's the vocal mix that impresses the most with Jam Factory setting the mood via some crisp percussive touches, warm bass patterns and deep sweeping chords before Safer's vocal filters through riding a snapping kick with aplomb. A definite sign of Jam Factory's sonic versatility!
