Hot off the press and clearly well versed in the moves of old-skool house music, Jackmaster K follows up his Made Fresh Daily 12" with the riotous party-starting firepower of "Spend The Night". Clattering box beats and subby square wave bass pound out the rhythm, while pads create an emotive backdrop to the title track, but really this track is dominated by the rapid fire vocal triggering that looks set to stuck in the heads of many a raver. Montel's remix gets a little sexier with its slinkier groove and more prominent chord stabs. Montel then follows up with a "proto house mix" which gets positively vintage in its construction, nailing the sound of the early 80s from the slightly detuning synths upwards.
