Thomas Andersen is Inter Gritty who runs the Random Island and RISE imprint from his home base in Norkopping, Sweden. Releasing steadily since 2012 he now presents his first full length titled Islands. Starting out with the bleepy and cyclical Robert Hood-ish vibe of "Ictis", there's some early Regis style DJ tools too like on "Swona". Not to mention some sweaty and tripped out acid house like on "Stac Lee" or "Madura" and even serves up some sublime deep house to drift to on the lovely "Non Madol". We must say that he really does save the best for last with some mesmerising futurism via ambient electro on "Clijm". A diverse selections of moods and grooves offered by by Andersen and definitely worth your attention.
