Supposedly a key component of Estonia's underground music scene two decades ago, Hypnosaurus were comprised of two members obsessed with Cabaret Voltaire and US electronic music, who made their live tape jams using a collection of decrepit hardware and Soviet synthesisers. Untitled sees Estonian label Porridge Bullet retrieve a track previously only available on a limited run of cassettes from 1991 and press it to vinyl; given the krautrock and cosmic jazz influences at play in the striking "Untitled", that the label have enlisted Hieroglyphic Being to "re-play" the original for the B-side is an inspired move, turning in a warped house version that's as stern as the original is delicate.
