A new one this week from Roberto Corizzo aka Hydergine, the Italian producer and owner of the Ranges label. From the cavernous and seriously introverted groove dynamics of 'Augmented Reality' (Reshape) on the A side, things get more upbeat and intense over on the flip with Fluxion's remix, where the Greek veteran gets into some typically greyscale funk. But the real treat of course is on the flip, with Bvdub's Worlds Fall Inwards remix where the singular Northern Californian producer delivers another awe-inspiring wall of sound reinterpretation echoing his recent album under his Earth House Hold alias, complete with his emotional and bittersweet vocal delivery atop.
