That whacky bunch the Whiskey Pickle gang are back at it again, firing up the choice disco edit engine for another freewheeling ride into the land of the sophisticated party. Hotmood is at the wheel, and his style is firm but laid back, just how you want your driver to be. "Junkie" is a consummate groover, not least when it drops down into a gorgeous bass lick. Loz Goddard does a fine job of chopping the track into a more housey thrust, but then it's back to a more vintage feeling on the B-side as "Dis.Co" channels the Salsoul spirit to great effect. "Cosmic Groove" is a punchier jam, but it's still brimming with the evergreen energy of classic disco.
