This is a superb cross-Atlantic collaboration between hoodie aka Naemi and Shy and James K that harks back to the chillout rooms of the early post rave era. It's hazy and lo-fi music that fuses dub and downtempo with ambient synthscapes and in the case of 'Scorpio' deft vocal snippets that blur in and out of focus. On the flip is a wholly ambient exploration in 'Ether' which suspends you in space and time as arching pads reach out into infinity all around you. Two blissful pieces of musical meditation.
