Fresh from another fine outing on regular home Lost Palms (the must-check "Cathedrals"), Harrison BDP pops up on Dominc Smith and Sonny Andreucuetti's Standalone Records imprint. Utilizing far-sighted electronics, spacey pads and warming aural textures throughout, the Cardiff-based producer has delivered a quartet of cuts that explore the fluid middle ground between deep house and tech-house. He begins with the shimmering, ear-pleasing late night house hypnotism of "Where Memories Lie", before opting for dubby bass and UKG-influenced beats on the two-step tech-house jam "The Shape of Your Mind". "Frost On The Window" sees him move further towards dub house territory, while "Cool Air" is a gently breezy slab of rolling, ultra-deep dancefloor warmth.
