No strangers to drum and bass, Canadians Gremlinz & Stranjah have been making waves for some years with backing from some of the biggest labels in the scene, from Metalheadz to Hardware, there is no compromise in their sound. "Banshee", on the A, is a pure undiluted groove established by a trademark reece line that draws throughout the track into an amen smasher. Hip-hop connections and old skool mentalities are the way forward in this. "Nic", on the double A, is a natural compliment to "Banshee", almost like the chilled out brother. Bluenote vibes are brought into the mix as a staggered beat drops into rough synths and dubbed out influences.
