After the cult status of the first Bath House Etiquette 12" back in 2010, Chuck Hampton revives his Gay Marvine alias for another bout of re-editing fun and games. There's a real nous for sustained grooves and modern club dynamics with the tricks and tools of the old guard at work across all these tracks. Of course that is all surrounded by the soaring strings, triumphant brass and slinky bass of the finest disco heritage, not least on the rousing patter of "Emerald City". Each of the four tracks on this release have their own distinctive slants, only serving to increase the handiness of the whole package.
