Fans of Gavin Russom are no doubt very happy with Ecstatic Recordings offshoot Entropy Trax. Founded by Walls pair Alessio Natalizia and Sam Willis as a platform for other artists to explore "experimental dance floor sounds", Entropy Trax has facilitated the welcome return to solo productions for Gavin Russom after an extended period focusing on The Crystal Ark project with Viva Ruiz. It's been an all Russom affair so far, with this second Entropy Trax 12" featuring another pair of long form productions from the New Yorker that pull aspects of his previous projects in compelling, mind bending new directions. "The Beneficent, The Merciful" is particularly memorable!
