With Funkineven's Funkinevil collaboration with Kyle Hall already winning both accolades across the board, the Apron boss teams up with another equally as respected underground US figure in L.I.E.S. and L.A. Club Resource's Delroy Edwards. As you'd expect from such a pairing, the results fit comfortably between club ready ghetto house and boogie-influenced acid, with the drum machine and 303 of both being worked to their limits; "XX" comes across a having a little more bounce, with the acid line tumbling around loosely structured percussion, while "X" is the more driving of the pair, with the bassline bringing to mind a car chase scene from an 80s straight to video thriller. Essential wares from the Apron camp once again!
