Fred Everything is a master of deep house that sinks you into jazz laced, lounge territory without ever sound trite. On this collab-heavy album for Lazy Days he shows off his many subtly different sounds, from the slow motion, flute laced disco chug of 'Palma' as reworked by Ilija Reedman to the superb broken beat electro of 'One In A Million' which races through the cosmos. On tracks like 'Un Dimanche Soir' there is a melancholic mood in the bass and keys that really hits home but yours never allowed to wallow but soon come deep cut boogie joints like 'Same Old Sound.'
