Lo-fi and retro classic house sounds with a Gothic flair courtesy of Fasaan Recordings who have dug deep into the techno underground of Malmo and found the drum machine anthems of Frankie Twilight. The woman behind this Alan Vega-esque alias does not subscribe to any genre definitions and is said to have played in a Berlin-based punk band as well as being a resident DJ at a members only 78 rpm jazz club. Starting off with "Olympia" on the A side, which is a raw and jacking live jam that could well have been recorded in one take. On the flip, there is the Murder Capital style darkwave techno of "My Opal Gems" or the thundering and brooding jackathon of "Coral Desires" which is equally as worthy of your attention.
