Fontaines D.C. are an Irish post-punk revival band formed in Dublin in 2017. The band's second studio album, A Hero's Death, was written and recorded in the midst of extensive touring for their debut, and was released in 2020 on Partisan Records. The album's title track receives a mighty fine rework here by Beligan indie-dance heroes Soulwax. The sibling pair taking it into slo-mo punk-funk territory as they always do so well, featuring a seriously low slung bassline and infectious 707 disco rhythms beneath Grian Chatten's stern vocal delivery.
