It's been some two years since the release of Martin Skogehall and Thomas Jaldemark's debut album under the Fishermen alias. Here, Skudge has decided to give tracks from the album the remix treatment, with an impressive quartet of producers providing new interpretations. Cut Hands kick things off, turning "Serpents" into a spooky chunk of atmospheric, bongo-laden tribal techno that will please fans of his recent BEB output. L.I.E.S man Florian Kupfer provides a fittingly distorted, dubbed out broken techno rework of the same track, before Steve Bicknell delivers goes into thrillingly spacey, hypnotic and intense territory on his rendition of "Dyspnea". Finally, Northern Electronics pair Ulwhednar tackles "Sunken Mosque", focusing the action on deathly electronics, fizzing cymbals and droning, discordant rhythms.
