Ohio-based Kevin Kennedy has been producing techno under various iterations dating back to the early '90s, and this period he's appeared on US concerns like Shake Shakir's iconic Frictional Recordings to Marcel Dettmann Records. Burek's increasingly active Barba sub-label score this 12" from Kennedy under his FBK alias which features three original productions as well as remixes from Terrence Dixon and Plural. All three FBK tracks are expertly sequenced techno tracks with plenty of stomp and emotion - "You're Going to Sleep Forever" is our pick of them. Both Dixon and Plural remix lead track "Screaming Her Name" with the former's a typically reduced affair and the latter's a wonderfully deep and dubbed out rendition.
