Berlin-based French producer, musician and vocalist, Julienne Dessagne, comes forth with her debut full-length, entitled - Two Is Not A Number. The album charts the life and times of two cosmic siblings, from the womb via the garbled ambient suspense of 'I was first' to the sedated plod of the album's conclusion 'All Of This Is Resolved'. En route, Dessagne's twins venture through sonic dronescapes of charred electro, brooding deep techno and sparse dub deserts. A heavy recommendation for anyone into the likes of Junior Boys, Celine Gillain's 'Bad Woman' and Young Echo Collective's cavernous steppas alike.
