The ever impressive Instruments Of Rapture reaches its seventh release with more chucky disco-meets-house music, this time from Evan Evans. "Repetition" takes up a whole 12 inches of wax on the A Side, and it's a sparkling piano-lead slow jam, reminiscent of Trickski's recent "Pill Collins" 12" on Suol. The glacial beats gently arrive at a glorious crescendo - the brief drop into a brief guitar lick toward the end is particularly memorable. Flip over for remixes from John Daly, who gives "Repetition" a punchy rework, while Art Of Tones rounds off the 12" with a remix of "Final" which boasts a farty, low slug riff.
