Dallas-based vocalist, producer and percussionist Enois Scroggins has found musical success later in life. Despite his vintage - he's an '80s soul and funk survivor with roots in the scene of the '70s - it's only in the last decade that he's begun to release acclaimed material. Real-E sees him join forces with revivalist electrofunk duo The Touch Funk for a cheery romp through synth-laden boogie-funk pastures. As you'd expect, it's musically on-point, with Scroggins' lyrics and vocals perfectly complimenting the Touch Funk's analogue synths and drum machine rhythms. Along the way, they pay tribute to P-funk, electro, boogie and synth disco, with a string of handpicked guests swinging by to lend a hand.
