Somewhat in keeping with their band name, Endless Boogie specialise in taking simple ideas and extending them into the realms of the infinite - irrestistible groove and swirling kraut-style repetition forming a bedrock on which axeman and singer Paul Major essays a harmonious marriage between Creedence-style groove and Neil Young-damaged raw soloing. Yet from what might appear a limited palette, this band has found ways to deliver a mesmerising body of work that offers fresh universes within the framework of deceptively minimal ideas, and 'Vibe Killer' is no exception - the heat-haze grooves and wild soloing on the title-track and the hard-rolling and almost Fall-style 'Back In '74' are as earthy as they are eternal.
