The EML-200 recreation is an old idea that has been in the works for 12 years, and several approaches and circuits have been tested during this time. The first attempt was to create a similar synth that resembles the 200 but with several different modules and circuits.

In 2011, with the growth of the EMW initiative and a few years without focusing on the project, it was embraced again, but now with no more surprises.

The raw and powerful vibration that represents the heart and the root of the analog sound, particualrly from the EML-200 and EML-300, was a key inspiration when creating the EMW-200 and EMW-300.
