His latest missive is predictably strong, particularly A-side 'Whisper'. An impressively atmospheric affair, the cut features lo-fi sounding electronic melodies rising above a chunky, hypnotizing bassline and his usual crispy, snare-heavy tech-house drums. The fun continues on the flip where 'Freak', a squelchy, acid-flecked mid-set bumper built around a limited number of teased and tweaked elements, is joined by 'Faze', which sounds like the sort of thing Sheffield sorts Swag released in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
